My friend Melissa and I were talking last night about our current relationships and she said something that really made me think. She was talking about how this is the first person she has "baby talked" to and asked if I did the same. I thought about it for a second and realized that this is the first person I do that with as well. As we were talking I realized why that is; for the first time ever I am allowing my man to be the HBIC (Head Bitch in Charge)...so to speak.
When you are used to being the boss in every aspect of your life, (i.e. work (the boss), family (oldest child), friends (the go-to person), relationships (being with incompetent, dependent douches)), it is very hard to just let go and trust the man in your life to get things done. For the first time ever I have someone who I trust to not only get things done, but to get them done right and therefore I let him be the man...what a friggin concept...a man who is the man. That is why I am able to let go and be the girl (annoying baby talk and pouting...lol).
What is your opinion; when is it okay to let the man be the HBIC?

A day in the life of a SINK - Part I
As I mentioned, I am 32 (soon to be 33) so it feels as though my 20s are a distant memory. Quite honestly, I'm glad they are. I always thought turning 30 would be this horrible experience and I would be "old" and thrown to the side, but my 30s have been AMAZE-BALLS thus far! I have more money, less debt, better friends, travel more, shop more, party more and love life more than I ever did in my 20s. This blog is dedicated to stories of women who are loving life at whatever age they are currently at. I'll start it off:
About six months ago I decided I had been doing the same job, in the same place, with the same loser guy in my life for far too long. Had I been in my 20s I would be writing this blog complaining about those three issues, but in my 30s I decided....screw it....let's change it. So, I applied for a few jobs in California (because I had always wanted to live by the beach...so, why not?!), found one, moved 3 weeks later from Arizona, dumped my loser boyfriend and started on a new journey. Now, I live 5 mins from the beach, love my job, make way more money and I have a redonkulously amazing boyfriend. All of which could not have happened had I not been at a place in my life where I felt confident enough to do so. This is just one of the many awesome moments I can attribute to the fact I am single with no kids. What's your story.....

Loving Life as Single Income No Kids
Welcome to my blog! I am a 32 y/o woman who is not married and has no children...both of which are by choice. I have a great job, great friends, great family and I love my life. This site is intended to be kind of a safe haven for women who want to chitty chat and get some good ideas for websites and things to do. Anyone is welcome to this site, obviously, so please don't run away if you do have children. However, I assure you, other than the fact I have nieces and nephews, I know NOTHING about kids and my information will reflect that!!! That being said, let's get this party started!!!! Enjoy!
